Vehicle Wraps

Partial and full vehicle wraps — 3M and Avery cast film, laminated and professionally installed

Vehicle Wraps printing services

A vehicle wrap is the most cost-effective mobile advertising you can buy. A well-designed wrap on a daily-driven service van or box truck generates tens of thousands of impressions per month for a one-time cost that's a fraction of equivalent billboard or radio spending — and it keeps working every mile you drive, for years.

Overview

We design, print, laminate, and install vehicle wraps in-house from start to finish. That means you don't bounce between a design shop, a print vendor, and an install bay — one team owns the project. We print on 3M and Avery cast wrap films engineered specifically for compound curves, deep recesses, and rivets. Every print gets a matching cast overlaminate for UV, chemical, and scratch protection. Final pricing depends on vehicle size, complexity (curves, doors, body lines, mirrors, handles), design hours, and install time — we quote after a quick measure-up of your specific vehicle.

Product Specifications

  • Print films: 3M IJ180Cv3 and Avery MPI 1105 Supercast — both 7+ year outdoor-rated cast vinyl
  • Color-change films: 3M 1080 and Avery Supreme Wrapping Film — non-printed solid colors and specialty finishes
  • Laminate overlay (gloss, matte, satin) on every printed wrap
  • Finishes available: gloss, matte, satin, carbon fiber texture, brushed metal, color-shift
  • Coverage levels: partial (rear panels / door decals), half wrap, three-quarter, full wrap
  • Professional installation by trained technicians using heat, squeegees, and post-heat procedures per 3M spec
  • Designed around your vehicle's body lines — we account for doors, handles, mirrors, fuel doors, and badges
  • Typical turnaround: 1-2 weeks from design approval (3-4 days printing, 1-3 days install)

Popular Uses

Service vans (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, cleaning), box trucks and commercial fleet, food trucks and concession trailers, utility trailers, race cars and track-day builds, personal color-change projects, company car branding, ride-share advertising, and specialty vehicles like buses, boats, and construction equipment.

Why Choose Ink Spot Printing

One shop, one accountable team. We do the design, the print, the laminate, the install, and the warranty follow-up. If a corner lifts six months in, you call us — not a print vendor who blames an install shop who blames the film supplier. We use only 3M and Avery cast films because they're the two brands with proven long-term performance and published warranty terms. We don't cut corners with calendered "wrap" vinyl that peels at the edges inside a year.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a vehicle wrap cost?

Pricing depends heavily on vehicle size, coverage, and complexity. As a general range: partial wraps and door decals typically run $500-$1,500; half wraps on a standard van run $1,800-$2,800; full wraps on a sedan or SUV run $3,000-$4,500; full wraps on a cargo van or pickup run $4,000-$6,500; full box trucks run $5,500-$9,000+. Design hours, photo-based graphics, and unusually complex body lines add to the final quote. We give firm written quotes after a quick site visit to measure your specific vehicle.

How long does a vehicle wrap last?

Professionally installed cast wraps typically last 5-7 years before the film reaches end of life. Vertical panels (doors, sides) outlast horizontal panels (hood, roof) which take more UV. Garaged vehicles last longer than daily-driven fleet.

Will a wrap damage my paint?

No, provided the paint is factory-quality and in good condition. Cast wrap films are designed to remove cleanly within their rated life. We do not recommend wrapping vehicles with aftermarket paint under 6 months old (curing), rusted areas, or previously damaged repaints — the wrap may pull paint when removed.

How long does installation take?

Small partial wraps: half a day. Full car: 1-2 days. Full pickup or van: 2-3 days. Box truck: 3-5 days. We typically keep the vehicle overnight for climate control and post-heat cure.

Can I wash my wrapped vehicle?

Yes. Hand wash or touchless automatic washes are preferred — brushed washes can lift edges over time. Avoid high-pressure nozzles within 6" of edges and seams. No wax or polish.

Can a wrap be removed?

Yes. Within its rated life, a professionally installed cast wrap removes cleanly with heat and patience. Expect a few hours of labor per panel. Adhesive residue can be cleaned with citrus-based adhesive remover.

Your work truck drives past thousands of potential customers every week. At Ink Spot Printing, we turn that daily drive into a rolling billboard — with professionally designed, precision-installed vehicle wraps built to survive North Dakota winters, Bakken road salt, and relentless summer sun. From a single service van to a full oilfield fleet, we handle design, print, and installation in-house right here in Williston.

Commercial Truck & Fleet Graphics in Williston

Unlike a decal you order online and hope fits, a wrap from Ink Spot is measured to your vehicle, printed on premium cast and calendered vinyl, and finished with a protective laminate so your colors stay sharp for years instead of fading in a season. It is the difference between advertising that looks cheap and advertising that closes jobs.

Full Vehicle Wraps

Bumper-to-bumper color-change or full-graphic wraps for vans, box trucks, and trailers. Complete coverage, seamless design, maximum visual impact.

Partial Wraps & Spot Graphics

High-impact coverage on a smaller budget — hood, doors, and rear-panel graphics that hit the eye where it counts without wrapping the entire vehicle.

Fleet Graphics & Branding

Consistent, repeatable branding across every truck you own. We build a master template once, then apply it identically across the fleet so vehicle #12 looks exactly like vehicle #1. Ideal for construction, oilfield services, plumbing, HVAC, and delivery operations across the Williston Basin.

Truck Lettering, Decals & Numbers

Need USDOT numbers, a phone number, and a logo — not a full wrap? Our cut-vinyl lettering and contour-cut decals are the fast, affordable, DOT-compliant way to brand a work truck.

Premium Wrap Materials — Not Bargain Film

The vinyl is the product, so we do not cut corners on it. We wrap with premium cast and calendered films from the industry’s top manufacturers — 3M, Avery Dennison, Arlon, and ORAFOL — and seal every job under a matched protective laminate for UV, abrasion, and chemical resistance.

Which film goes on your vehicle depends on the job: calendered films are the durable, cost-effective choice for the flat and gently curved panels on work trucks, box vans, and trailers, while conformable cast films handle deep contours, rivets, and full color-change wraps. We spec the right material for your vehicle and budget — and tell you honestly which one that is — instead of putting the same roll on every job.

Our Wrap Process

  1. Consult & measure — We assess your vehicle, goals, and budget, and pull exact dimensions.
  2. Design proof — You approve a to-scale digital mockup on your actual vehicle before we print a thing.
  3. Print & laminate — Wide-format print on premium vinyl, sealed with a protective laminate.
  4. Professional install — Clean, controlled shop installation — no driveway bubbles, no lifting edges.

Vehicle Wrap FAQ

What is the best vinyl for a local commercial work truck?

It depends on the truck’s surfaces. For the flat and gently curved panels on most work trucks, box vans, and trailers, a calendered vinyl is durable and cost-effective. For deep contours, rivets, and full color-change wraps, we step up to a conformable cast film. We print on premium films from 3M, Avery Dennison, Arlon, and ORAFOL, and we spec the right one for your vehicle rather than putting the same roll on every job.

How long does a vehicle wrap last in North Dakota weather?

A professionally installed, laminated wrap typically lasts 5–7 years, depending on the film, sun exposure, and whether the vehicle is garaged. We laminate every wrap for UV, abrasion, and road-salt protection so your colors hold through Bakken winters and summers.

Will a wrap damage my truck’s paint?

No — on factory OEM paint in good condition, quality vinyl protects the paint underneath and removes cleanly when done by a professional. Wrapping over aftermarket or damaged paint is the one case we will flag before starting.

How long does it take to wrap my vehicle?

Most single-vehicle wraps are installed in 1–3 days once the design is approved. Fleet projects are scheduled to keep as many of your trucks on the road as possible.

Do you do fleet pricing?

Yes. We build one master template and apply it identically across every vehicle, which lowers per-unit cost and keeps your whole fleet visually consistent. Ask us for fleet pricing.
